  • Phyllis Albritton

    MANAGING CONSULTANT

    Phyllis Albritton is the managing consultant for the Colorado Safety Net Collaborative and a Principal at P-Cubed Partners. She brings to the table more than 20 years of experience in health, human services, education, and information technology initiatives that improve lives. She’s passionate about helping people access the support they need, whether it’s healthcare for uninsured people, technology in schools and libraries, dental services, or mental health services.

    Over her career, Phyllis has worked for both public and private organizations, such as the Colorado state government, local nonprofits, the Delta Dental Foundation, DaVita, and the Colorado Regional Health Information Organization.

    At the University of Colorado Physician Assistant program, Phyllis worked as adjunct faculty, helping candidates understand how to use social determinants of health in their practice. She was also a 2017–2018 Aspen Institute Fellow for Children and Families and served as an executive committee member for the Center for Improving Value in Health Care (CIVHC).

  • Bebe Kleinman

    CHAIR

    Bebe Kleinman is the chair of the Colorado Safety Net Collaborative’s board of directors and has been the CEO of Doctors Care for 25 years. She brings over 35 years of experience working in the nonprofit sector, specifically serving low-income children and families. Through her work, she has sought to ensure that everyone has access to the healthcare they need to live happy, productive lives. She’s passionate about creating a more just society for everyone in the community.

    Bebe is currently on the board of Arapahoe County Public Health Department. Previously, Bebe worked as Program Director for The Women’s Foundation, Director of Development for The Gathering Place, Executive Director for Douglas County Senior Services, and Director of Social Services for Sheridan County Memorial Hospital in Wyoming.

  • Michelle Hubbard

    SECRETARY & TREASURER

    Michelle Hubbard is the secretary & treasurer for the Colorado Safety Net Collaborative and the Operations Director for Dream Center Women’s Clinic. She has over 15 years of experience in work at nonprofits and other organizations focused on serving her community. In her current role, she values connecting with patients and supporting the Women’s Clinic in changing lives.

    Previously, Michelle worked with the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, and Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.

  • Alok Sarwal

    BOARD MEMBER

    Alok Sarwal is the Chief Executive Officer & Cofounder of Colorado Alliance for Health Equity and Practice (CAHEP). CAHEP offers primary, mentaI health, and dental care to the community as well as community events. In his 18 years at CAHEP, Alok has created programs and provided support for community-based services, specifically informational technology in healthcare.

    His diverse background includes an MBA in healthcare systems from the University of Colorado Denver and a PhD in electrical engineering from the University of Cincinnati.

  • Michelle Vacha

    BOARD MEMBER

    Michelle Vacha is the Founder and Executive Director of Community Dental Health (CDH). Through her more than 30 years of experience in dental care, she realized the unique challenges older adults face in receiving quality dental care, prompting her to start Senior Mobile Dental (now CDH) in 2006. CDH and Michelle have been recognized and awarded both locally and nationally with the work they do, and the advocacy Michelle is passionate about in bringing oral health care into overall health care.

    Michelle is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association, CDHA, Colorado Nonprofit Association, Pueblo’s Latino Chamber of Commerce, NNOHA and the Pueblo Chamber of Commerce. She regularly gives presentations about the issues older adults face regarding oral healthcare.

  • Meredith Hintze

    BOARD MEMBER

    Meredith Hintze is the Executive Director, COPIC Medical Foundation and Director, Corporate Social Responsibility at COPIC. Since 2019, she has worked with the COPIC Medical Foundation to reduce healthcare fragmentation and improve health outcomes for people in the community.

    Meredith is currently on the Board of Directors at the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation and serves as Past Chair for the B:CIVIC Summit. Prior to joining COPIC, she served as the Executive Director at Reach Out and Read Colorado.
